Red Bull: Ricciardo will drive the RB9 in the Silverstone tests
The Australian candidate to replace Webber in 2014
di Staff16 July 2013
Daniel Ricciardo will drive the Red Bull Racing RB9 in the Silverstone tests starting tomorrow.
The Australian will drive Toro Rosso this afternoon but Red Bull's choice shows that Ricciardo is the most serious candidate to replace Mark Webber as Sebastian Vettel's partner in 2014.
Ricciardo is highly respected by the Red Bull test team with whom he already rode in the young driver tests in 2009 and 2010 and a solid performance in the Silverstone tests could be decisive for his promotion.
