Philippe Bianchi: “I hope for a miracle”
It's now been seven months since Jules' Japan accident
Philip Bianchi he hopes for help from above.
Interviewed by Canal Plus on the occasion of the Monaco GP, a race which just a year ago saw the driver from Nice cross the finish line in eighth place with the little Marussia, Jules' father seems to have lost faith in medicine seven months after the Suzuka accident which left his young son in a coma.
“The thing that matters most is that he is alive and fighting despite the situation appearing unchanged – he said – Maybe one day a miracle will happen. As far as we are concerned, our life stopped on October 5th. It was something totally unexpected and every day we wake up with the fear that we will get a bad call."
“What happened was certainly not what we wanted, but seeing so much affection from people consoles us” – he concluded.
