Ferrari would like to speed up the FIA's decisions

Ferrari has reflected on the events at Silverstone and the penalty imposed on Fernando Alonso for not having given back the position he had gained over Robert Kubica and wants to propose a change in the regulations to the federation.
The prancing horse's team criticized the excessive time taken by race director Charlie Whiting in responding to the team, in particular the fact that Whiting did not quickly express himself on the need for Alonso to return the position.

Ferrari says the FIA took almost two minutes to respond, which was too long and would have made it difficult to return the position. Stefano Domenicali during an interview for the newspaper La Stampa provided his hypothesis for a change: "We will discuss a change to the regulations: if the race directors are not involved within three or four corners later, the maneuver can be considered correct."
After the Valencia Grand Prix the federation had changed the rules on the safety car, optimizing the regulation already for the Silverstone race.
