Ferrari will fit the F-duct system as soon as possible
di April 6, 2010
In Maranello, Ferrari technicians are working to emulate the innovation brought by McLaren, the so-called F-duct system which allows the drivers of the English team, by pressing a button with their knee, to install the rear wing improving top speeds.
In Melbourne Sauber brought a similar solution to the track and Red Bull, Force India, Williams and Mercedes are said to be working on similar systems.
Stefano Domenicali said on Sunday that Ferrari is also preparing its own version for the F10.
"We have seen that the advantage of this system is very, very great" declared the Italian in reference to the top speeds of Hamilton and Button.
"We will bring him to the race as soon as possible, once we are 100% sure."
