F1 | Vettel has no doubts: “Raikkonen was the best teammate”

It's time to take stock for Sebastian Vettel. The German will conclude his career with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, scheduled for this weekend on the Yas Marina track. For the four-time world champion, the time has come to remember the stages that marked his professional experience in the Circus, including that relating to his teammates.

And in this regard, as stated in the Beyond The Grid podcast, Seb has no doubts about who his favorite teammate was: Kimi Raikkonen. Vettel in fact discussed his relationship with Raikkonen during his time at Ferrari, underlining how the Finn represents a great figure both from a human and professional point of view.

"I think Kimi is the greatest natural talent I've ever met – said Vettel – I believe in terms of pure speed. And it can be seen in the car, obviously, but it can also be seen in any other medium. I think that if there was a discipline to change cars every day, after 10 days he would overtake all the others. It's something natural, it doesn't take time to adapt to the machine and what it requires. If you give him a steering wheel, he knows what to do with it".

Vettel, continuing to talk about Iceman, said: “I think with him, I probably had the best relationship of all the teammates I had because he was so natural. There was never an argument. If we clashed we talked about it, resolved it and laughed about it. There has never been an issue that could destabilize our relationship".
