F1 | Domenicali warns Imola and Monza: "History is not enough, we need to invest"

In a long interview granted to the microphones of "La Stampa", Stefano domenicali spoke about the confirmation of the world events calendar of Imola e Monza, specifying that the time has come for the racetracks in question to invest heavily in infrastructure not only for the professionals, but also for the fans themselves (grandstands, access roads and car parks).

According to the Italian Manager, the history of these two plants is something that must absolutely be remembered and preserved, but in the same way it cannot be an excuse, especially if we consider the growth that other countries are carrying out to guarantee a place within the calendar.

“History must always be remembered and valued, but it must not be an excuse for not investing,” stated the President and CEO of Formula One Group. “The Monza and Imola contracts will expire in a few years and I expect a reversal of trends regarding investments. As an Italian I would like to see my country react to a request for growth that comes from everyone."
