"I started the race from a bad position, in the middle of the group and we were all very close to the first corner. Unfortunately I wasn't able to recover any positions at the start and I even lost a position to Nick. But then during the race my pace was good. Even though my stints were short I was able to catch Webber during his last pitstop and that was good."

"For me the result is rather disappointing and does not reflect what we could achieve today. After a good start I was able to set a similar pace to those in front of me, but I left Robert because he was on a lower load petrol. Then I had to defend my position against Adrian Sutil and I lost contact with the lead. This proved to be fundamental, because after his pitstop Kovalainen went out in front of me and was unable to gain any advantage despite the lighter car."
