Alonso: “In Japan supported by the spirit of the samurai”
On paper it looks like another uphill race for McLaren
Fresh from yet another double retreat in Marina Bay McLaren he hopes to at least see the finish line for Honda's home race in Japan, the only apparently possible objective given the characteristics of Suzuka which are decidedly adverse to the MP4-30 and its power unit.
“The Japanese track is a complicated one for the riders because it is narrow and bumpy, and therefore requires high concentration – analysis by Fernando Alonso – In terms of setup it is the opposite of Singapore. Even if we are in good balance, I am aware that the high speeds will penalize us. I will still try to carry the samurai spirit with me by never giving up."
“S, Degners, Spoon, 130R are curves that have no equal in terms of beauty and difficulty – stated Jenson Button – As a circuit it is truly treacherous and technical, which is why I remember my 2011 success with particular pleasure. For us it won't be a walk in the park. this year, in any case we will try to get a good result."
