Alonso does not respond to Hamilton's provocations

Fernando Alonso didn't want to waste time responding to Lewis Hamilton's recent provocations. The Briton claimed he "destroyed" Alonso during their explosive season spent at McLaren. In reality each won four races that year, collecting the same 109 points, but during the Ferrari party in Madonna di Campiglio the Spaniard did not want to argue with Hamilton.

“If I had to respond to everything he says I would waste too much time,” Alonso told the Daily Telegraph.

“Anyway, McLaren is very strong and when I went there it was a good time,” he added.

The newspaper also revealed that Alonso slipped 40 meters after a ski fall while tackling the steep “Schumacher” slope.

The twenty-eight year old told journalists that he had little practice on skis and complained about the few days of testing before the start of the season in Bahrain.

“I only have seven or eight days to get used to the new car,” he told the German publication Auto Motor und Sport.

“Maybe during the first races I won't have completely settled in yet, but at the latest by the third race we will be able to see the real Alonso,” he promised.

Finally, Alonso took a dig at F1's decision to reduce costs by cutting test days.

“There's probably no other sport where you can only test seven times before the start of the season,” he noted.
