Willis, HRT: “It will take another two years to move from the back of the field”
On the official website of the HRT, the team said it would take two years to move from the back of the grid.
The technical boss Geoff Willis he said that will only happen if the team, once called Hispania, increases its resources and staff.
“We have to improve a little everywhere. It's not to be negative, but we simply need more resources."
“For example, in the aerodynamic department, we need more people. At production, we need better quality control and more testing. You can't afford to be weak there."
As for the 2012 single-seater, Willis declared that they have already been working on it for a few weeks.
“Of course, we have already been working on 2012 since June. But we don't have the resources we would like. More people on the team have to take care of more things.”
The Englishman denied wanting to move to other teams for the moment: “I can't answer these questions. At the moment, they are an important part of this project and no one wants to leave, until we get what we want."
