Williams, Symonds: “Stroll learns quickly”
"He will arrive at the Barcelona tests without any kind of problem"
In an interview with Reuters, Pat Symonds commented on the apprenticeship program that Williams is carrying out to prepare Lance Stroll. The current Technical Director of the Grove team underlined how the Canadian talent, despite his young age, is quickly learning all the systems that manage a Formula One and that his level of preparation can already be considered quite good. According to Symonds, Stroll will arrive at the Barcelona tests without any problems.
Here are the words of Pat Symonds: “He may make mistakes, of course, but he is working very hard and learning very quickly. He will take to the track as a rookie and therefore as a team we know that he may make some mistakes, but, considering his season in Formula 3, we are quite optimistic. Even during last year he made some mistakes, but in the end he won easily in the championship demonstrating his talent. He will arrive at the Barcelona tests without any kind of problem."
