Williams: missed opportunity in Canada

Nico Rossberg:
“The start was fantastic. I passed Alonso at Turn 1 and was going away from him, and I wasn't losing too much to Massa. Then there was the accident in the pitlane, which was really unfortunate. Then I tried to pass Vettel since it was really necessary, but I came off the clean line and went wide and Heikki Kovalainen passed me. Now I will focus on the next race in France where I obviously hope to get a better result."

Kazuki Nakajima:
“With all the crashes, he was going well, but when I was following Jenson he seemed to hit some debris in the middle of the hairpin, lost traction and I couldn't avoid him. I damaged my front wing and went out. When I returned to the pitlane it completely detached and got stuck under the chassis, so I wasn't able to turn, and that's where my race ended."

Sam Michael, Technical Director:
“Obviously it wasn't a positive result for us, despite good first laps and a good strategy, but Nico had an accident at the end of the pitlane which relegated him back and then a puncture which made recovery difficult. Kazuki had an accident at the hairpin bend. It would have been possible to score points as the car was fast enough for the top for the second race in a row but we simply didn't capitalize on the potential."
