Williams: Disappointment for the missed points zone in Hungary
Disappointment in Williams for missing out on the points in the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Rubens Barrichello – 13th: “I'm quite disappointed with the result because we were fighting for some points today. We struggled with our tires throughout the race and I lost part of my front wing at the start. Then, when it started to rain, I saw a great opportunity for us. I thought we could do something to have a chance of finishing in the points. But the rain only fell for a lap or so our stop for intermediates didn't work out. It's a shame, but we don't have the pace at the moment.”
Pastor Maldonado – 16: “It was a difficult race. We recovered some positions at the start, but it was difficult to stay on track, even with the intermediate tires. I made a mistake in the pit lane before my first pit stop, not pushing the limiter button, and so I received a drive-through penalty. Then it started raining. It was a lottery whether or not to go back to the intermediates or stay with the slicks. We chose the intermediates, but then it stopped raining shortly after and so we had to make another stop to fit dry tyres. We didn't get any points today, but we made some improvements this weekend and we will work hard over the break ahead of the final races of the year. “
