Williams, Button first choice to replace Bottas

The possible arrival of Valterri Bottas in Mercedes could sensationally push Jenson Button towards Grove. According to what some newspapers across the Channel report, in fact, the English Scuderia is evaluating the figure of Mclaren's current third driver for next season. Stroll's arrival forces Williams to look to a more experienced figure for the second seat and for this reason, especially at the behest of main sponsor Martini, the negotiations with Pascal Wehrlein seem to have reached an impasse.

In fact, Martini would like an "expert", seasoned figure alongside Lance Stroll and for this reason the talent and experience of JB is being evaluated.
