Williams, Barrichello: “We can still fight for points tomorrow”

A difficult weekend so far for Williams in Monza in the Italian Grand Prix. However, Barrichello and Maldonado are confident they can achieve a points finish in tomorrow's race.

Rubens Barrichello – 13: All in all it was a difficult weekend in terms of performance for us, and although we were hoping for a higher position, we did better today than we thought. Starting from 13th and 14th gives us hope that we can score points, so we will have to continue to think positive and do our best tomorrow.

Pastor Maldonado – 14: It was difficult for the whole team today. The mechanics did a great job to fix my car in time to go out in Q1. I had a difficult time in the first lap. The tires weren't ready so maybe I was a bit too optimistic with the rear wing, I lost the car and it hit the barrier. There wasn't too much damage, just the front wing which we managed to change. I think we were more competitive today and the team did a great job overall with Rubens in 13th and, so now we're looking forward to the race.
