Williams in Abu Dhabi: mixed fortunes for Barrichello and Hulkenberg in qualifying

A positive qualification for Rubens Barrichello in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix which brings Williams into the top ten. Different situation for Nico Hulkenberg who achieved a 15th position after having grip problems in Q2.

Rubens Barrichello – 7:
“It was a great qualifying, especially considering where we were yesterday. Last Friday we struggled a bit, but we improved the car in every aspect and I'm just happy with today's result. Seventh place is better than I expected and I hope to be able to maintain this tomorrow. Tomorrow is another day, but my engineers and I have had a good weekend so far, so I'm very positive."

Nico Hulkenberg – 15:
“To start with, Rubens and I were pretty evenly matched, but I ended up in P15, while Rubens got into the top ten. In Q1 everything went well, with the first tires working well. We then selected the options for Q2 and everything changed. My car suddenly behaved very unexpectedly, I lost balance and grip and the car was sliding all over the circuit. It was very strange and we will try to understand why this is tonight. With a good start, we can gain some positions and finish with a more positive result tomorrow.”
