The German is the youngest DTM winner

pascal wehrlein, aka the youngest winner in the history of the DTM, will be the new reserve driver of the Mercedes.
Already active this year on the simulator and last weekend on the track with the W03 in Portimao for a 500 km test, the German will begin his apprenticeship in the top formula by attending the six remaining races.
“His work behind the scenes was very important and no one knows the current car like him – declared the boss Toto wolff – Furthermore, what he showed in Portugal was impressive and we believe he will have a splendid future ahead of him.”
