WEC | FIA ready to move the 6 Hours of Fuji to favor Fernando Alonso

According to what was reported by the Spanish newspaper Marca, the WEC organization is reportedly working on a sensational relocation of the 6 Hours of Fuji, a concurrent event with the Formula One United States Grand Prix. After the announcement of Fernando Alonso who, we remember, will compete in all the events of the next FIA World Endurance Championship, the French organization swould be working on fixing the world calendar, setting endurance racing back a week in Japan.

The race, initially, it was scheduled for the previous weekend, only to be moved to coincide with the Petit Le Mans. Now, according to what the newspapers report, WEC organizers would be in contact with Fuji (owned by the Japanese manufacturer) for moving the race, with the aim of returning it to its original date. With a possible change of this type, the Spaniard would be able to fly to Japan, facing Toyota's home round.

We will know more in the coming weeks.
