Mark Webber, disappointed after today's retirement due to an error in the wet during the Korean GP, ​​declared that he still feels he is fighting for the world championship. The Australian is now 11 points behind Fernando Alonso with two races to go.

“Positions are not very important at the moment, points remain the important thing. Things can change quickly and this is my second retirement of the year, but there are two more races and I will do my best” added Webber, admitting his mistake: “It was totally my mistake. I put a wheel on the curb on the exit of Turn 12 and then there was a slow motion moment. It was just my mistake. Today was not my day. A very long and frustrating spin. I thought I had done enough but in the end it wasn't enough. The wall was close and there was some damage, then I ruined Nico's race too. Now we're all back in the running ahead of the last two races."
