Webber: “In Canada I would like to get on the podium”

After the second and third places in Monte Carlo, Webber and Vettel are preparing for the Canadian trip for one of the most eagerly awaited seasonal events on the calendar. The couple was carried away by the warmth of the spectators Red Bull will try to put on a show.

“Canada is certainly a nice grand prix, very popular among drivers and fans – commented Mark – It's interesting because it's another street circuit and the fans are really passionate, all of Montreal stops for the event and there's a nice atmosphere. Personally I have never been on the podium here, so I will try to break this fast. In general when I think about this race I think of Nigel Mansell's retirement with one lap to go when he was leading and Jean Alesi's only victory in F1."

“As a route, the Gilles Villeneuve has a nice rhythm, I like it, just as I love the welcome we are given, the city in fact experiences the weekend 100% and this makes us feel special – the thought of Sebastian – I remember 2011 with pleasure, there was a lot of water, it was terrible! I had never seen it rain so much and for so long! During the race we had to stop and I was in front, then on the restart it was very difficult and half way through the end I made a mistake which cost me the victory. Sometimes it goes like this, but I think it's more fun for the audience to remain in suspense until the end."
