Webber: “Happy to be back on the front row”

Mark Webber is happy to have conquered the front row at the Japanese F1 GP. The Australian from Red Bull achieved the second fastest time in qualifying behind teammate Sebastian Vettel.

Webber hadn't been in the top 5 since the British GP.

“It's been a good weekend for us so far,” said Webber. “Seb and I had a clean run in Q3 when it mattered at the start and it was two great laps for both of us. We've had a pretty difficult period, so now I'm looking forward to the race with confidence. It's good for the championship to have two cars in front again. We can really hope for a good race tomorrow. We had to work really hard to get the car right. Now it's going very well and we would have been disappointed if the performance was below expectations because this is a track that should favor us."
