Vettel: “I'm perfectly happy at Red Bull”

The world champion Sebastian Vettel he said he was "completely happy" at Red Bull, admitting he didn't think of legends like Ferrari or Mercedes.

The German has repeatedly been said to be in contact with Ferrari, but he replies that he is completely happy at Red Bul, because they provide him with the car to win races.

“Let's get straight to the point. Winning races is not easy; win championships even less – in any team,” Vettel told the official F1 website.

“I feel completely happy at Red Bull. Of course, Ferrari and Mercedes are a legend, but now I don't think about legends."

“What's important to me is that when I come back from the circuit and I look at myself in the mirror of my hotel room, I want to be able to say, 'yes, that's me and I'm happy with what I see'. And after Abu Dhabi it's a good feeling knowing that I have nothing left to prove to myself."

Vettel also admitted that he is not too worried about his future teammates, because he is aware that he has to beat everyone to be the best.

“In the end, I don't spend too much thought on who my teammate is,” he said in an interview with Bernie Ecclestone.

“I want to be the best, so I have to beat them all, with the same car, or with a different one. I would never ask my team to find me a teammate based on my wishes, but I expect two things from my teammate: honesty and respect."
