Vettel still snubs Ferrari

"I'm happy at Red Bull"

Vettel still snubs Ferrari

Sebastian Vettel has once again denied market rumors that he would join Ferrari in the future. The reigning world champion has been the protagonist several times of rumors linked to a sort of pre-contract already signed with the Maranello team.

Speaking after his latest victory, at the Indian GP, Vettel said it was important to put an end to the Ferrari rumors to avoid destabilizing the environment at Red Bull.

“If there is, I'm sorry to say, some nonsense in the press, obviously there could be some concerns at the factory,” Vettel said.

“But I am 100% with them and I feel their 100% support and so I want to be even more clear: there is nothing to say about it and I am very happy at Red Bull Racing.”

Christian Horner, team boss of Red Bull, said he was happy with Vettel's words: “Seb and the team have a very solid relationship. We both know where we are now and where we will be in the future. Sebastian has been with Red Bull since he was 12 or 13 years old. He achieved all his F1 victories in cars designed by Red Bull, and is very happy to be part of this team. He is an important part of this team and we hope he continues to be so for many more years. Another contract with him in the future? I can't think of a driver who isn't interested in a contract with Red Bull at the moment."
