Vettel: “This Ferrari is a good base to work on”
"We toured a lot, even in the rain"
Ferrari F1 – The German pilot, Sebastian Vettel, completed its second day of pre-season testing today on the Ferrari SF15-T on the Jerez circuit.
Sebastian Vettel: “It is too early to say too much about the real value of this single-seater, especially considering the fact that comparisons cannot be made with the other teams, involved in different programmes. However, I would say that there is a good basis to work on. We lapped a lot, even in the rain, testing the new intermediate tires which performed very well, reaching the right temperature despite the cold: a decisive step forward. The applause in the pits at the end of the session? Well, they were all happy that nothing bad happened even when riding in the wet: the guys already have enough work to do in the pits...".
James allison: “A bit like yesterday, despite having recorded a good number of laps, you can never say that you have covered enough kilometres. However, I agree with Sebastian on the fact that we have a good starting point at the moment."
