Vettel: “I'm not happy with this day”

Friday did not live up to one's expectations for Sebastian Vettel, who finished both sessions in fourth place, behind his teammate Kimi Raikkonen, struggling to find the perfect feeling with his SFH70.

“I'm not happy with this day,” commented the Rossa driver at the end of the race Free 2. “I struggled a bit to find the rhythm, as well as with the track conditions, probably more for me than for the car. I couldn't put it all together; I wasn't fully satisfied on the track but I feel that the car is fast so it's good. I'm not worried, just not happy with how the day went."

“It's like I'm not 100% the captain of my own boat. Sometimes someone else would turn my car and I hope that tomorrow, whatever it was, it will disappear,” he continued. Hag. “If we look at the long runs they were quite shocking. I took a quick look and saw that everyone suffered in these conditions. With the mediums the track was quite slippery."
