Vettel: “Qualifying will be very important in Melbourne”

Sebastian Vettel said qualifying will be "very important" in Melbourne. “I think that without a doubt, qualifying will be very important as always” explained the world champion a few hours before the start of the first free practice in Australia.

“It's usually easier when you start from the front, but I think it's difficult to make predictions based on the tests. We just have feelings: it's good to have good feelings, especially about yourself, the car and the sensations behind the wheel. We are very satisfied about it, certainly not everything has always gone according to plan but in general we can be happy and as I said we don't know at this stage what will happen. It's nice to finally be here. This is the first race, there will be many others. This track is so different from a normal track, tracks like the one in Barcelona. So in free practice we won't know much about the pace of the cars."
