Vettel furious with Kvyat on the back podium: "You entered like a madman and Kimi lost out"

Sebastian Vettel really can't rest over the contact with his teammate Kimi Raikkonen at the start of the Chinese GP. As a team man, the German apologized several times via radio to the team, and in person to Iceman immediately after the end of the race. According to him, however, the cause of the crime was the considered kamikaze entry of Daniil Kvyat with Red Bull.

According to Seb, the Russian driver entered Turn 1 in a crazy way, without worrying about his colleagues nearby. In the room behind the podium the unusually nervous and angry Vettel did not tell Daniil, who in turn responded in kind, defending a maneuver which was also deemed legitimate by the race commissioners.

Here's the argument between the two.

Kvyat: “What happened when we left?”

Vettel: “You ask me what happened at the start? If I don't move to the left we'll catch each other and go out, me, you and Raikkonen."

Kvyat: “Okay…”

Vettel: “No, it's not good! You came in like a torpedo!”

Kvyat: “Come on, it's the races, I was racing.”

Vettel: “Yes, it's the races, but if you come on the same line we collide…”

Kvyat: “But you surpass yourself…”

Vettel: “You know there was a car on the left too…”

Kvyat: “Oh sure I can see all three cars, come on, I only have two eyes”

Vettel: “If you come in like that we'll crash.”

Kvyat: “Well, that didn't happen”

Vettel: “No, it didn't happen to you!  I understand that these are races, but if you enter like a madman you can damage the car...you were lucky this time, Kimi suffered the damage"

Kvyat: “Come on, I'm on the podium, you're on the podium, everything's OK”

Sebastian then reiterated his thesis on the podium, confirming that he didn't like Kvyat's aggressiveness at the start. The Red Bull driver, on the second podium of his career, shrugged, declaring that he will not change his way of racing.
