Vettel: “Giving up would be stupid”
di StaffNovember 4, 2010
As the fight for the 2010 F1 title reignites, tension is also rising between the Red Bull duo, Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel, separated by 14 points in the standings, both behind Fernando Alonso, with two races to go.
“I'm not giving up,” Vettel told the DPA agency. “It would be stupid to no longer believe in the title. I will continue to fight” he promised. A deal with Webber? We are too far. I'm just focusing on my performance.”
According to Webber, Vettel is seen as the team's superstar only due to his young age.
“In Korea I retired due to a breakdown, I would have been much more disappointed if I had retired due to my mistake” replied Vettel. “I know that my team supports me and I'm not worried” concluded Vettel.
