The Ferrari driver is confident about a growing end to the season for the entire team

Vettel: “We have confidence and we will continue to fight”

Sebastian Vettel don't lose hope. The German driver still believes in a Ferrari redemption for the end of the season and in a continuous improvement of the team until the last race.

Despite the difficulties, Vettel was encouraged by the great recovery in the Singapore race and by a fifth place which showed the potential of the car: a performance which, according to him, should instill courage for the future.

“I think that if everything goes right we definitely have a strong package – the German told ESPN – There are a lot of races in which we haven't shown it; some have been positive, in others many things have happened to us, but it is certainly not over even if we are still not where we wanted to be. But we still believe in ourselves."

“We're definitely not where we want to be in terms of pace, sometimes it's a little better, sometimes it's worse. Obviously on tracks like this one in Singapore we hoped to be closer and more competitive with a solid chance of winning and fighting for the podium. Unfortunately for us this wasn't the case but going forward we have faith in new improvements. We're here to fight and that's what we're going to do."
