Verstappen: “Arrogant Vettel with his finger in victory”

Sebastian Vettel's victory index finger is boring and arrogant according to former Formula 1 driver Jos Verstappen.

Since he started taking pole positions and victories, the German has always celebrated by showing his index finger.

A type of celebration evidently appreciated by the German press which at the beginning of the 2011 season had the headline: "Show us your finger of victory!".

Verstappen admitted that he was impressed by the performances of Vettel and Red Bull: “They were truly amazing” we read in the Dutchman's article for De Telegraaf. “Despite the problems at KERS they have the best car. Sebastian Vettel is undoubtedly the favorite for the title. However, I find his way of celebrating by wagging his finger after every triumph really boring and arrogant. I have to say, though, that in his place I would probably have done the same thing."
