Verstappen: “It can be improved”

Decent first day in Sepang for the Toro Rosso, almost always within the top ten.

“It was a good start – he said Max Verstappen, 7th and 8th – This morning I tried to learn the track and was cautious. I only had some difficulty managing the tires due to the humidity, but overall it went well. For the second session we made some changes that I was satisfied with from a balance point of view. We still have room for improvement.

“The car immediately proved to be fast and balanced – the words of Carlos Sainz Jr. 5th and 14th – In the afternoon, however, I had a few more small problems, in particular due to the traffic. When I went out with the mediums I didn't find a clear track and this prevented me from putting together a clean lap. However, the pace is there, so I'm calm and positive."
