Vergne looks ahead with confidence

On the sidelines of the performance at the wheel of a 8 RB2012 which took place on the streets of Assen last Sunday Jean-Eric Vergne wanted to talk about the Circus by taking stock of its season so far.

“Overall it was good even though I suffered a few too many retirements due to the reliability which didn't allow me to achieve what I would have liked – the rider revealed to GpUpdate Toro Rosso – On the other hand, whenever I didn't encounter any problems I managed to get into the points. Hungary's performance, for example, really pleased me. It was nice and motivating to fight for the top positions, so I'm at peace knowing that I can count on a team that will do everything it can to give me an increasingly robust and faster car between now and the end of the year."
