A McLaren man in a key role at Force India

One of McLaren's managers has been hired for a top management role at Force India. The two teams announced yesterday a solid technical partnership with the Woking team which will provide the Indian team with "operational support".

Simon Roberts, until now operational director at McLaren, will in fact move to Force India.

Despite the agreement, McLaren reiterated that it cannot influence Force India's choices in terms of drivers. "I am convinced that the partnership will lead us to take a big step forward. I can't wait for 2009 to arrive" declared Adrian Sutil to the SID agency.
