Official: an F1 GP in New Jersey in 2013

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie confirmed today that the state will host a Formula 1 Grand Prix starting in 2013. Christie said the race will be held on a 3,2-mile street circuit that will run on pre-existing roads. -existing through Port Imperial and West New York.
“I am thrilled that New Jersey will host its first Formula 1 GP in 2013, bringing one of the most popular and exciting sports to our borders,” said Christie.
The United States will therefore host two Formula 1 races starting in 2013 with Austin joining the calendar next season. The last US GP was held in 2007 in Indianapolis.
