Official: Mick Schumacher arrives in Formula 3 with the Prema team

After days of rumors and indiscretions, it finally arrives the announcement: the Prema, in fact, on his place has published the communique print that makes it official the arrival of Mick Schumacher in Formula 3. After two seasons in Formula 4, Michael's son is preparing for this new challenge

“Formula 3 is the ideal step for me to take and I can't wait for the new season to start. I am also very happy to remain at Prema, because it is a very professional team, which will allow me to learn a lot" said Mick Schumacher. Then he continued: “Next season will certainly be challenging, but the tests we have done in recent weeks demonstrate that the Formula 3 car is extremely fun to drive. I can't wait for 2017 to get started.".

Angelo Rosin, team principal, said: “We are thrilled to continue working with Mick in 2017. Not only is he an experienced rider, he is a great guy and has already proven he has everything it takes to be an all-round top professional. The debut in F3 will not be easy, but he will have the whole team to help him ”.

The team had previously announced the signings of Callum Ilott, Guan Yu Zhou and Tadasuke Makino.
