"I have to say it was a fun day for me and it was interesting to drive on a new track for the first time. It was fun and I can't wait to race. They did a great job with the facilities and the The track is really well made, I'm impressed. The first laps were difficult because there was no grip, but that's normal for a new circuit like this and as time went by the situation improved. Driving at dusk and "It was a new experience for me and the view doesn't change much, there are some shadows, but overall it's similar to Singapore but it's not a problem. Overall the car seemed competitive and well balanced so if I can improve further tomorrow will be another good weekend."

"Today went well and it was interesting to drive on this track for the first time, it's a fantastic location. This is the second time in two weeks that I have had to learn a new circuit so it's becoming a familiar experience. I have learned a lot from the weekend in Brazil which has already helped me here in Abu Dhabi. It will also be useful to have a completely dry weekend in order to gain confidence with the cars and tires on this track. It didn't happen in Brazil but I hope this weekend! We collected a lot of data today which will allow us to find areas to improve. I believe we can take another step forward in terms of performance before qualifying and then I will do my best to start as far ahead as possible."
