Timo Glock achieved the second podium of his career with third place today in the Malaysian Grand Prix. At Sepang Jarno Trulli fought for a long time for the lead but still managed to score some world championship points in difficult weather conditions.

“I'm happy for the team. I feel a bit unlucky this weekend, I missed pole by a tenth and I could have achieved a better result. It was a good race and certainly eventful. I was pushing up front and fighting with Rosberg for the lead. At a certain point I was having trouble with traction. When the rain arrived the team chose to fit extreme wet tyres, which is a conventional strategy. I was the fastest car on those tires but it wasn't enough because the tires wore out after two laps. Timo was with the intermediates at that stage and they worked better for him. I was a bit unlucky with the strategy but with hindsight it's always easier and I don't want to accuse anyone. It's a shame to have missed the podium but it's another good result for the team."

“It was fantastic to be back on the podium and I'm really happy for the whole team. It was a really difficult race. I started third and was eighth at the end of the first lap. I suffered a bit behind those in front of me in dry conditions but I fitted intermediate tires at the right time; I chose to take the risk. It took a long time for the rain to come and I wasn't sure what the others were doing. They struggled with the wet tires while I was very fast and gained a lot of positions. When the rain fell heavy I had to switch to extreme wet tires because my tires were destroyed. I was doing well with them but I was unlucky, the result was declared based on the order of the penultimate lap. When the red flag was shown I was second but I'm still happy with the result."
