Toyota: Glock and Trulli in the third row in Spain

Jarno Trulli remains optimistic ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix despite the third row achieved today in qualifying. "It was a difficult and interesting qualifying for me, particularly in Q1 and Q2, when I struggled with little fuel but the important thing was to get to Q3" explained Trulli, seventh today.

"In Q3 the grip improved a lot with more fuel on board, the car responded well and I was able to push. At the end of the session I managed to put together a very good lap, so I'm happy with my performance and I think seventh position is good considering the load we have. I think the strategy is the right one and I'm optimistic for a good result in the race."

His teammate, Timo Glock, qualified just ahead of him, in sixth position.

"I'm reasonably satisfied with starting in the top 6, especially in light of the free practice that didn't go exactly as expected. I suffered a bit in free practice with the stability of the car but we worked to improve it and sixth position in qualifying isn't bad. Obviously I was hoping to be closer to the top but the other teams have made a step forward this weekend and the competition is very tight."
