Tost: “Schumacher's return is anything but negative”
Franz tost, team boss of Toro Rosso, has declared that Michael Schumacher must remain in F1 as long as he wants.
According to Der Spiegel, Tost knows the 42-year-old German well, so he was asked for his opinion on speculation that Michael is on the verge of retiring again.
“First of all, Michael Schumacher, seven-time world champion, with nothing left to prove, should not worry that Nico Rosberg whether faster than him or not."
“The most important thing for him is to see if he is having fun and still has passion. Those are the only questions he has to answer."
“Michael brings a lot with him. Do you think Mercedes would be so exposed if Michael left? He is crucial. He continues to attract a lot of attention and his return is anything but negative."
Eddie jordan, however, declared that Michael “has had his day”.
“Michael has had his day. He has been very successful and is a very good driver, but someone should talk to him and convince him to make way for some other talented driver."
