Toro Rosso, Tost: “I don't think Red Bull will let Sainz go”

The season finale is ever closer and the market is still in turmoil for Formula 1. There are still numerous positions to be clarified with Carlos Sainz at the center of an indiscretion that would see him join Renault in 2017.

He recently expressed his opinion on the issue Franz tost, the team principal of Toro Rosso. Interviewed with Tuttosport, he branded these rumors as unlikely.

“Carlos has a contract and I don't think Red Bull has any plans to let him go, especially considering his development. Sainz is a professional of the highest level and in 2017 we need a rider like him."

There are many doubts about the future of F1 due to the imminent regulation changes, with the confirmation of the Spaniard being fundamental to guaranteeing the right amount of experience to the Faenza team: "Considering all the changes to the regulations that we will have, it will be essential for us to have an experienced driver, or ideally two”.
