Toro Rosso awarded with the “Dino Toso Racecar Aerodynamicist of the Year”

Hard work always pays off. They know this very well at Toro Rosso. During a ceremony held last Monday in the United Kingdom, the Faenza team was awarded the award Dino Toso Racecar Aerodynamicist of the Year for "the exceptional work carried out in 2015”. The head of aerodynamics Brendan Gilhome and his deputy Ben Mallock were there to receive the prestigious award.

"Obviously, receiving this award would not have been possible without Red Bull's commitment – said Gilhome – and the rest of Scuderia Toro Rosso, thanks to which our Aerodynamic Department was able to face this difficult challenge. Naturally, the contribution of James Key and Franz Tost who guided us, giving us their full support, was also fundamental".

"I am very proud that our aerodynamic department won this award“, said Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost.

"It's certainly deserved, considering the car's fantastic performance throughout the season. The STR10 is certainly our best machine yet. Well done to everyone and a big thank you to the whole team for their efforts under the guidance of our Technical Director, James Key, and our Head of Aero Brand Gilhome”, concluded Tost.
