Toro Rosso, Kvyat comments on the rumors about his future: "Too early to give any certainties"

In the classic press conference that Toro Roso announces before each race weekend, Daniil Kvyat returned to talk about his future and the rumors that see him away from the Scuderia di Faenza next season. The Russian, who had a season well below expectations, explained that nothing has yet been decided for 2017 and that there will be some significant news in the coming weeks. Kvyat, obviously, aims to keep his seat in Toro Rosso, but an experience in Williams or Force India would help him to detach himself from the Red Bull world, especially in the future (a return to Red Bull is unlikely).

Here are the words of Daniil Kvyat: “I have done some sessions with the 2017 car. The simulator can give the engineers some ideas, but it is still too early to reach any conclusions. The new single-seaters aim to be faster and this can be felt. It's always exciting when you get into a faster car, just like it was for me at the beginning of my career, when I moved from 2.000cc cars to Formula 3, for example. Well, next year it will be like this, because we will have a little more downforce in corners"

“My goal is to be in F1 next year, but it's too early to comment” continued the Russian. “We will talk about it behind closed doors. I have a lot of respect for Red Bull and sooner or later I would like to have some more details! I'm looking for a seat that gives me the chance to show what I'm capable of. Toro Rosso is a fantastic team, we are a big family and I feel very comfortable with it."
