Toro Rosso, Kvyat: “You have to be bold at Silverstone”
Daniil fascinated by one of the great classics of the calendar
Silverstone has its charm, its history, and remains one of the few "hard" circuits in this world championship, where all the courage of the drivers is needed to make the best time. He is aware of it Daniil Kvyat, fascinated by the English track, which speaks of a track with character and on which courage and audacity are needed behind the wheel.
“I think Silverstone is another classic event on the Formula 1 calendar: it has great character and you have to be quite bold while driving! It has legendary sections, such as the Maggots, the Becketts, the Stowe (turns 10-14)… and, of course, I can't leave out the Copse (turn 9) – explained the Russian pilot - Usually, you're almost full at that point and I think it's a fantastic feeling! You then have to be brave enough to tackle the new section of the Abbey. The last three corners, together with 3 and 4, are the slowest on the track. All in all, it's a fairly technical track. Another thing to take into account is the wind, as it can vary a lot throughout the day".
