Toro Rosso, Vergne: “The Indian track is beautiful”
The Frenchman making his debut on the track took advantage of the first sessions to get to grips with it
di Chiara Rainis26 October 2012
For Jean-Eric Vergne, Friday's were the first kilometers on the New Delhi circuit. Not particularly incisive, having sailed between seventeenth and eighteenth position in both sessions, the Toro Rosso driver however did not give in to easy alarmism - "I really like this track even if my pace wasn't the best . Tonight we will analyze the data to understand what to do also because we should shave about a second off the times set today. Regarding the behavior of the tyres, I noticed a big difference between the soft and hard tires, but it shouldn't be a problem. I believe that in the end we will make a comparison with Ricciardo's set-up which proved to be more successful."
