Todt: “Schumacher is a fighter, he will recover”

Jean Todt said he was optimistic about Michael Schumacher's chances of recovering from his bad skiing accident. The FIA ​​president, linked by a long friendship to the seven-time world champion, is one of the few people who have visited Schumacher in Grenoble hospital since the German was hospitalized in an induced coma three weeks ago.

In recent days there have been rumors about the possibility that the 45-year-old may never recover from the brain injuries suffered in the impact but Todt was reassuring in this sense: “Michael is a fighter and I know well his energy, his courage and his perseverance” he declared to the German press. “I firmly believe this will make a difference.
