Tilke: “Indian F1 circuit will be ready in time”

The architect of the Indian GP F1 circuit has reiterated that the facility will be ready in time for the inaugural race next month. Hermann Tilke was reached by Auto Motor und Sport magazine after the latest flurry of rumors about the construction of the circuit near Delhi.

Asked if F1 fans should worry about missing a race this year, Tilke replied: “No, everything is going according to plan. All new tracks are almost always completed just in time. This will also be the case in India."

Tilke admitted, however, that not all of the plant could be completed in time.

“It is easy to deduce that some parts of the plant still have to be completed. But this also happens in most cases. I am very satisfied and I think the results will speak for themselves” she added.
