F1 Test | Renault, Sainz: “I'm confident for the start of the season”
A gearbox problem affected the last day of testing

The Spanish driver concluded the test at Barcelona in third position; yesterday a gearbox problem affected his program and he only completed 45 laps.
Here are the statements of Carlos Sainz:
“A lot of the day was frustrating for me and the team but that doesn't mean it wasn't a productive week. In the last available hours we managed to put in a good performance with the softer tires and the car. If we look at the positive side, it was better to encounter this problem now than during the championship. I'm confident for the start of the season and can't wait to go to Albert Park.".
