F1 Test | Haas, Steiner: “The car had no problems”

Many laps completed again today for Haas on this second day of winter testing in Barcelona. Romain Grosjean, in fact, is the driver who completed the highest number of laps today, 154, also completing several long runs in the afternoon to check the behavior of the single-seater with a high fuel load and different set-ups.

The simulation was interrupted by a small accident exiting Turn 5, resulting in the Frenchman breaking his rear wing. Fortunately the suspension was not damaged and Grosjean was able to return to the track again to complete the day's work: “It was another positive day in terms of distance traveled and data accumulated. The car had no problems, except for a small accident at the end. It's better not to happen, but it's part of the game and there were only 40 minutes left in the day. It's always good to complete this mileage and have two days of testing without interruptions due to mechanical issues. Everything went well, everything followed the pre-established plans, this makes us happy,” commented Gunther Steiner, Haas team principal.
