Max Verstappen concluded his winter tests with the 12th time, with the fastest lap achieved in 1'19"842 on soft tyre.
The Dutchman, who will give way to teammate Daniel Ricciardo tomorrow on the eighth and final day of testing, did a job aimed at clocking up the kilometres, as demonstrated by the 187 laps he covered which earned him the award for workaholic of the day.
"We gave priority to long runs, the sensations received from the car are positive – declared Verstappen -. We didn't have any problems and I'm happy with the pace we had".
"If it's enough to win in Melbourne? We'll only find out this in a couple of weeks, but I think we can be satisfied with what we've done. The season can start tomorrow, I'm ready”, Verstappen's warning.
