Team Lotus: Trulli and Kovalainen at the finish line in Türkiye

Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen crossed the finish line in the Turkish Grand Prix in 18th and 19th position respectively.

Jarno Trulli – Pos 18:
“It was a pretty good race, especially in the first laps. I had another incredibly good start, but I got blocked in the first corner so I wasn't able to take advantage of the situation. At the beginning I started to struggle with the tires so we changed to a three-stop strategy, which finally worked quite well. However, today's result didn't really show our improvements in terms of performance, so I think when we get to Barcelona with the whole new package on the car then we really show that we are capable of fighting with the midfield teams."

Heikki Kovalainen – Pos 19:
“It was quite a difficult afternoon. I had a couple of mechanical problems, with a small hydraulic leak and I think the strategy didn't work as we would have liked. Despite this it was another good weekend for the team and a double finish is always an important aim here, but now it's about looking forward to Spain and we're all focused on making a big step forward there."
